Two Dutch tourists have been arrested in Croatia after a brawl broke out outside a restaurant in the early hours.

The victim, also Dutch, was left “seriously wounded” after the attack in Porec, a resort on the Istrian Peninsula, at 3.10am on Thursday, local police said.

The suspected assailants and the victim are all 18 years old. Police said the incident was an escalation of previous arguments between the men.
